March into the Peaches!

 

 During the month of March, we focused on community helpers. We explored materials for firemen, police officers, doctors, veterinarian, construction workers, and dentist. Dramatic play was our most preferred center this month. We had a lot of dress up play and working as “doctors” on our baby dolls and stuffed animals. We had the opportunity for a lot of fun art creating firetrucks, police cars, doctor kits, police officers, and pushing cars in paint. We have demonstrated a lot of matching skills and identifying                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 during our time in centers. We had a very special community helper visit (Cary police officers) came to show their gear and police cars. It was a HUGE hit! 

The warm weather is bringing a lot of smiles and laughter outside as children are exploring all over the play structures. We are continuing to make so much progress in all areas and loving time in the classroom! Cheers to April, May, and June! 
